Departmental HR Partner – Marketing (Volunteer) Note: This is a remote, part-time volunteer position. Please do not apply if you are only seeking paid employment. About the Role As the Departmental HR Partner for our Marketing team , you’ll: Represent HR in bi-weekly marketing meetings (Fridays at 1:00 PM ET) Help identify and relay HR needs such as recruitment, onboarding, or team support Collaborate with the central HR team to fill open roles and track hiring needs Support a positive, creative, and collaborative team environment Coordinate with the HR Coordinator to assist with onboarding and communications What We’re Looking For Some HR experience or interest in learning (students and career changers welcome!) Strong communication and note-taking skills Comfortable joining department meetings and voicing HR-related needs Collaborative and responsive, especially in a remote setting Passionate about nonprofit work and creative, marketing-driven teams What You’ll Gain Exposure to a fast-moving, creative marketing environment Real-world HR experience in a mission-based nonprofit Collaboration with dedicated professionals in HR, branding, and leadership Flexible, remote schedule (apart from required meeting) Commitment We ask for a commitment of 5–7 hours per week and a minimum of 6 months .
