Job Description

About Us:

image.works is a rapidly expanding marketing firm located on Madison’s west side. For over 25 years, we’ve helped banks, credit unions, healthcare organizations, and higher education institutions achieve success through innovative marketing strategies. Our reputation for exceptional customer service and high-quality products has enabled us to grow to over 750 clients nationwide. As we continue to grow, we're looking for talented individuals to join our expanding digital team.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Digital Marketing Strategist to join our dedicated digital department. You would work alongside a team of talented strategists and play a key role in developing, executing, managing, and optimizing digital advertising campaigns for our clients. This is a hands-on role where you'll directly impact client success through platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads. We're looking for someone with proven digital marketing experience who can hit the ground running and contribute to our ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, build, launch, and manage paid digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, with a strong focus on Google Ads (including Search, Display, Video, PMax networks), Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Ads and Linked-In ads.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily, conduct ongoing optimization efforts (bids, budgets, targeting, creative, landing pages) to meet and exceed client goals.
  • Analyze campaign data using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, platform reporting, and other tools to derive actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Conduct keyword research, audience analysis, and competitive analysis to inform strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including copywriters and graphic designers, to develop compelling ad creatives and messaging.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients during monthly reviews.
  • Assist in setting up and managing conversion tracking using tools like Google Tag Manager.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and platform updates in digital advertising (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, SEO, etc.).
  • Manage multiple client campaigns and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and performance targets are met.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven, hands-on experience managing digital advertising campaigns for businesses, particularly with Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Google Ads platform, including campaign setup, optimization techniques, various ad networks, and reporting. Ability to discuss past campaign successes and strategies.
  • Experience building and managing campaigns within Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram Ads).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4 preferred) and Google Tag Manager.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for collaborating with internal teams and presenting results clearly to clients.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently once tasks are assigned, but also a strong team player.
  • Technologically savvy and a quick learner.
  • Bonus Points (Preferred but Not Required):
  • Experience managing LinkedIn Ads campaigns or other paid platforms not listed.
  • Experience with SEO (organic and paid search strategies).
  • Proficiency with tools like SEMrush, HubSpot (or similar CRM/Marketing Automation platforms), and project management software.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Experience advertising within the healthcare and financial services industry (banking or credit unions).
  • Google Ads certifications, Meta Blueprint certifications or other digital marketing certifications.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles or experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
