Role Overview:

This is a hybrid role (40% technical, 60% leadership) focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM), with responsibilities spanning operations and strategic direction. The Director will lead IAM efforts across multiple brands and domains, with a focus on Active Directory, Azure, and certificate management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 3–15 global resources (5 contractors currently; 2 FTEs to be hired)
• Oversee IAM operations and act as a local IAM leader in North America
• Troubleshoot escalated technical issues, route support tickets, and handle bypassed help desk requests
• Architect and implement solutions including MFA, SSO, certificate templates, and access controls
• Create and maintain IAM roadmaps, strategies, and reusable architectural patterns
• Collaborate with HR, infrastructure, and application teams to streamline identity solutions
• Drive a certificate management overhaul project and consolidate Azure/AD identities
• Define and enforce IAM standards, specifications, and best practices
• Communicate and coordinate at director-level across technical and business units

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred)
• 10+ years in IAM, 5+ years with Azure/AD, 4+ years in certificate management

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and cross-team collaboration
• Hands-on technical proficiency in IAM tools and technologies
• Experience in complex, global IT environments
• Ability to lead technical change and present to senior leadership
