EVPassport is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Trainer to play a crucial role in developing and empowering our growing commercial revenue team. Reporting directly to the Director of People Operations and working closely with the EVP of Sales and Deployment, the Sales Trainer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of sales enablement, from onboarding new hires to continuously improving the skills and knowledge of our existing salesforce. This individual will design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs that align with our ambitious sales goals for 2025, specifically focused on EV charger sales across our IaaS and CapEx business models. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for sales excellence and the ability to translate business objectives into effective training initiatives. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Onboarding and New Hire Training: Develop and deliver a comprehensive onboarding program for new sales employees, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration into the team and company culture. Facilitate introductory training sessions covering company vision, values, culture, organizational structure, key terminology (TCV, ACV, IaaS), and departmental responsibilities. Conduct product-specific training on EV industry fundamentals, EV charging types, use cases per vertical, EVPassport overview, value propositions, hardware, and software (driver experience and dashboard). Coordinate learning meetings with cross-functional teams (Deployment, Pricing, Customer Success) to provide a holistic understanding of the sales ecosystem and post-sales processes. Ensure new hires understand and are equipped to execute on their 30/60/90-day sales strategy. Skills Development and Ongoing Training: Design, develop, and deliver ongoing training programs to enhance the sales team's product knowledge, sales techniques, prospecting strategies, negotiation skills, and closing abilities. Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, guides, talk tracks, and interactive exercises. Develop and deliver training on key sales tools and technologies, including Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Outreach, and the deployment site tracker. Facilitate mock sales calls and provide constructive feedback to improve individual and team performance. Develop and implement training on understanding and articulating EVPassport's value propositions and pricing expectations. Performance Management and Accountability: Develop a program to teach and hold sales employees accountable to the outlined 90-day sales strategy and performance targets. Create and implement scorecards and tracking mechanisms to monitor individual progress against targets. Work with sales leadership to identify training needs based on performance data and sales goals. Program Development and Management: Continuously evaluate and update training programs to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with evolving business needs and market trends. Measure the impact of training programs on sales performance and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date on the latest sales training methodologies and industry best practices. Manage all aspects of training logistics, including scheduling, communication, and resource allocation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales training within an EV, technology, or SaaS organization. Proven track record of developing and delivering successful sales training programs that drive measurable results. Strong understanding of the sales process and best practices. Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences. Experience with Salesforce and sales enablement tools. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong organizational and project management skills. Knowledge of the electric vehicle industry and charging infrastructure is a plus. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
