The Opportunity

Adept Group is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer (1099 Contractor) to add to our team in Chicago, IL! This candidate would have full packaging development experience in the Food & Beverage, CPG, or Pharmaceutical industries. This person must have experience with plastic bottle and mold qualification.

This is a hybrid (3 days per week onsite) 1099 Contractor (Independent Contractor) opportunity for 3 months at 40-hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate line trials.
• New innovative packaging projects.
• Packaging development projects.

Day to Day:

• Field technical calls.
• Lead discussions with suppliers.
• Prepare and review technical documents for labs.
• Participate in calls with international production teams.

Requirements:

• Located in Chicago, IL and be open to working 3 days per week onsite.
• 4 - 10 years of packaging engineering experience.
• Plastic bottle and mold qualification experience.
• Food & Beverage, CPG, or Pharmaceutical experience.
