Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr

Overview: We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Senior Social Marketing Manager to lead our clients social media strategy and execution. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for elevating our brand presence, driving engagement, and delivering measurable business outcomes across all key social platforms.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and Execute Social Strategy: Architect, implement, and optimize a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing and business objectives. This includes defining target audiences, platform selection, content pillars, and measurement frameworks.
  • Content Leadership: Oversee the development and production of engaging, high-quality social media content (text, image, video, live) that resonates with our audience and reflects our brand voice. This may involve hands-on content creation, as well as managing external agencies or internal content creators.
  • Community Engagement & Growth: Foster and grow our online communities across various platforms. Implement strategies for audience engagement, sentiment analysis, and crisis management, ensuring a positive brand experience.
  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated social media campaigns, working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, sales, PR, design).
  • Paid Social Expertise: Develop and manage paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation, audience targeting, ad creative optimization, and performance analysis, to maximize ROI.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), track, analyze, and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Trend & Platform Fluency: Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices. Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless integration of social media initiatives. Potentially mentor or manage junior social marketing team members.
  • Brand Voice Guardianship: Ensure consistent brand messaging, tone, and visual identity across all social media channels.
  • Influencer & Partnership Management (as applicable): Identify, vet, and manage relationships with relevant influencers and partners to amplify brand reach and credibility.

What You'll Bring:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful social strategies, ideally in a fast-paced, [B2B/B2C/SaaS/e-commerce] environment.
  • Deep expertise in all major social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube) and their respective best practices and analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager).
  • Exceptional content creation and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for engaging visuals and compelling copy.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and a passion for staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving social media landscape.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with social media management and listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Sprinklr).
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and how they intersect with social media.
