Position Purpose:The Substitute Assistant Teacher supports teachers with childcare responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:Some experience working with children. Completion of required training including training in universal precautions. Maintains pediatric First Aid/CPR training certification.
Preferred Qualifications:High school graduate.

Assists regular staff with childcare in a play-based curriculum. Works with children ranging from 6 weeks to 54 months. Assists in supervising children, participating in play, and engaging children. Participates in some light housekeeping.
