Full-Time Washington, PA Location Overall Function: Assists the Program Supervisor with the daily activities of Crisis Intervention Services, program operations, and supervision of staff. Essential Functions: Assists with the implementation of short and long term program goals ensuring compliance to all government rules, regulations, and agency policies and procedures. Assists in the preparation of the annual program budget, monitors monthly expenditures and identifies any new funding opportunities. Participates in staff training through individual conferences or staff meetings, monitoring performance to ensure the delivery of quality program services. Assists the program supervisor with interviewing, training, scheduling and evaluating program staff. Prepares and submits all required correspondence, records, reports and documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Promotes community awareness of program activities. Initiates appropriate Intra & Interagency contact to facilitate consumer care. Provides direct services including interviewing clients, facilitating client groups, and on call for CARE Management Team. Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, and agency policies and procedures. Qualifications Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related social services field with progressive experience in human services, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field with three (3) years’ experience in human services; Demonstrated ability to obtain vital information during a personal interview to make proper recommendations; Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff, providers, and other social service agencies; Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from the Pennsylvania State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and FBI Fingerprint Clearance.
