*Job Summary:*
The Risk / Investigator Assistant will play a key role in supporting the investigative and risk management activities of a national company. The position involves assisting in the investigation of a variety of cases, including worker’s compensation claims, theft, sexual harassment, discrimination, and major general liability claims. This role is vital in ensuring the company remains compliant with national security standards while protecting company assets and personnel.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist lead investigators in gathering and analyzing evidence.
* Conducting initial investigations, including interviewing witnesses, gathering statements, and documenting relevant facts and details.
* Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, Legal, and Security Operations to ensure a coordinated approach to investigations.
* Assist in reviewing physical evidence, surveillance footage, accident reports, and incident reports.
* Assist with surveillance operations.
* Assist in the evaluation of workplace incidents to determine the root cause and provide recommendations for preventive measures.
* Help in tracking and reporting on risk and loss trends to inform future safety and security measures.
* Provide administrative support, including managing case files, organizing meetings, and drafting correspondence related to the investigation.
* Inputting, monitoring, and investigating worker’s compensation claims.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Law, Public Administration, or Human Resources.
* Basic knowledge of worker’s compensation laws, administrative investigations, criminal investigations, and security protocols.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in writing investigative reports.
